![]() It's something that stuck with me since Titan Quest. I also dont see which other Class would ever take an advantage in it. (The Lightning Damage exclusive in shaman, Ulzuin, Oleron, Possession, Harbinger and so on)Īnd I wanted to play a build that could specifically use Conviction without wasting any of it.Īnd I wanted to utilize dual wielding ranged because it's the unique ability of Inquisitors.Īnd I didnt pick censure because it seemed more like a melee ability, and I wasnt sure if the -%ER would even apply on attacks or if it was bound to the fire-damage AoE.Įither way, I dont know why conviction even gets bonuses to the dot damages, if its primary function is pierce damage. Whenever I think about playing Inquisitor classes, I am hesitant to pick one up that doesnt have any other exclusives, because I think the exclusives in other classes are just way superior. I know that most other exclusives are better than conviction, which has been my point. you'll get tons of that from higher level unique items anyway. main damage boosts would be attack speed, OA and flat damage (elemental or subtypes of it). ![]() damage will be ok anyway, so not much point sacrificing defense stats for it. ![]() stack resistances and health like with every other toon. seekers are pretty poor overall, but their only saving grace is that they will be up almost all of the time even if you only bind them to a WPS (since they have 100% proc chance and a cooldown) elemental storm to main attack (sacred strike, later beronath shard thingy or other item based default attack), elemental seekers to one of the WPS. Lowered/removed some of the weaker stuff and added some defensive skills. behemoth would be useful, too, but requires some blue affinity which would be a bit of a detour. see if you can grab chariot and hydra with the freed up points. totally not worth the points if you don't need the yellow affinity. that thing is a filler constellation if you need yellow points to unlock something. I'd drop falcon swoop entirely and i see no reason why you pciked crane. but then you still only have 1 main attack and the other celestial powers must be bound to WPS, which is kinda bad (low% chance to trigger a low% chance proc). i guess you could use the blessed steel component spell as a placeholder until level 50 or so and then switch over to a shard of beronath. you don't even have a default attack replacer to bind them to. I think you picked too many active devotions. I'd probably drop some points somewhere (perhaps arcanist mastery - you really only need 25 points in there since you don't even use any of the skills beyond the 25 mark) and max out inquisitors seal. ![]() if you want to boost elemental damage, the other exclusive (aura of censure) would be stronger (elemental RR)Īnyway, i'd stick with conviction. the small boost to elemental dot damage is quite irrelevant. aura of conviction adds flat pierce, OA and physical resistance. You have to read the skills more carefully. If I was open to letting go of Seru and Crane, which constellations would you recommend? Is it worth getting lost off some of the skills to get some active damage spells? Should I focus on 2 guns with elemental% or on 1 gun with fire/Lightning and 1 with Pierce/Cold (Maybe even a Rifle)? Which Epics/Legendaries would give me a good LMB attack to use on this? The base idea is, to focus on Iskandra, Deadly aim, and the Inquisitor WPS to create a build able to deal damage without having a proper LMB attack (by default) or without having to play on perretti. My idea was to use a build that was able to utilize the Inquisitor Exclusive that buffs dot damage.Īnd as Arcanist is the mastery with most elemental buffs and damage, without focusing on a single one, I thought it would be optimal to pick. I know that you dont like working with builds with no items selected, but for one I dont even know which items to focus on so here it is: I have several questions regarding an idea for a build I may try out soon. ![]()
