When you get the project planner you will receive it in four different styles – Cursive, Classic, Soft, and Botanical. It is a great starting point when it comes to planning a project because it gives you the space to write everything you need to structure a good plan. This project planner template is a great way of giving yourself the best chance of completing a project by creating smaller tasks to complete the bigger end result. It could be a personal project or something you want to try, it could be a business project and it could also be a school or college project. We have to plan projects for different reasons. This awesome free printable looks great and has everything you need to plan your projects. The kit contains clickable links so you can easily access all these tutorials and products directly from the printable file itself.Whatever you need to plan a project for, you should definitely use this free project plan outline template. …as well as the supplies and resources I rely on most when sitting down to sew! I’ve linked up 12 of my favorite quick-and-easy sewing projects… Using graph paper ensures my sketches are a little more accurate!Īt the end of this printable kit, I’ve included a few resources that are especially great for new sewers. When trying to determine how much fabric I need for certain projects or when figuring out how best to layout pattern pieces onto the fabric I have, I always sketch it out on paper. This kit also includes some basic graph-style paper in two sizes that you can certainly use for anything you need. This printable really comes in handy if you’re trying to track down more of a certain fabric if you happen to run out mid project (or when blog readers email you asking for the name/source of a random fabric they see on your blog!!!) The Fabric Swatch log is one of my favorite things I’ve created in a while! Whether you’re collecting/matching fabrics for a single sewing project or just trying to keep track of fabrics you’re using in a room makeover or have in your stash, this single-page worksheet (that can be printed in multiples as necessary) helps you log all the important details for any fabric. And did I mention these pages are fully editable? Yep! That means if you’d rather type in your notes, thoughts and plans instead of write them, you can do that! Across all 5 pages, there is ample room for a detailed shopping list, inspiration and notes, a checklist-style To Do List, as well as a fabric swatch log. The 5-page planner features much of the same information as the 1-page version, just a lot more spread out. However, for larger or more-complex projects, I’ve also included a 5-page planner. This single-page version is ideal for quick projects that don’t require a ton of supplies, planning, or steps. The first is a single-page planner that features space to notate your project, pattern, helpful resources and tutorials, supplies needed and notes. There are two planner “styles” included in this Sewing Project Planner. This kit features some additional goodies which I’ll show you in a bit, but the highlight of this printable kit is the 8 sewing project planning worksheets all designed in bright and happy colors and my signature clean yet fun style! Like all my other printables, the Sewing Project Planner is a printable pdf that can be viewed on pretty much any device! The printables in this mini planner are designed to help you (and me!) keep track of fabric, notions, to-dos, pattern details and more so we can more easily and more efficiently sew up something awesome! Not only do I think it can be really helpful to collect your thoughts, plans, patterns and supplies before getting started on a sewing project, but I’ve definitely been guilty of making trips to and from the fabric store, only to arrive home without everything I need. A few years ago, I created a printable Project Planner for The Organization Toolbox and pretty much ever since, I’ve wanted to adapt it specially for sewing projects.
